Re: New Release! (BTW V4.80)

I've come to appreciate my shovel on a whole new level while caving with the stratification. Clearing the dirt and gravel eats up my early cobble but it is worth it to find that next cave or hidden ore.

Thanks for a new level of awesome.

@FC - Sorry about the name in the title, I know how active you are here and I should have remembered that part of the rules. As I pull myself out of the lurking I'll be more vigilant.

Re: FC scared the crap out of me with Hardcore Endermen...

I've not made it to the end in this particular world yet, I'm actually excited by the prospect. I always manage to accidentally aggro one or two while wandering about there, and with Hardcore spawn it becomes even more of a daunting task. After an accident or two I've become more aware of how I actu...

Hardcore Endermen scared the crap out of me.

My gaming box had been out of commission for a little while and I finally got it back up and running and updated the other day. For the first time last-night since FC's tweaks to endermen I finally caught one's eyes, accidentally no less.... Holy crap, first time in a long while playing MC that I go...

Re: Kerbal Space Program.

Kerbal Space Program rocks, most of my rockets explode mid-flight or don't have enough fuel to do anything else after achieving orbit but it's a blast either way.

Once I get my fuel consumption down I plan on staging some rescue missions for my stranded orbiting Kerbals.

Re: Large Biome Seeds for BTW

I've been using "Exile" Spawn is Jungle/Extreme Hills with a chasm right across the water from spawn that has a couple of spawners (zombie and skeleton) in the caves around it and it is a slime spawning chunk also. There is a desert with a village nearby as well. I located Tundra on the po...

Re: hello! and also, how offten do you start a new world?

I started crafting in early alpha and for several months I managed to keep a single world going, then my old computer started to die crashing randomly and one of the crashes finally corrupted my save. After that I'd just got used to starting from scratch every now and again and didn't really think a...

Help with crafting padding

I cannot craft padding, using either the old or new crafting pattern. I've done a fresh install of minecraft and BTW, but I have no desire to report it as a bug if it is just me. I'm curious if anyone else has had the same problem, or if I've just royally screwed something up. if I understand the wr...

I found it whilst looking for an ocean biome. If you're still needing a good ocean seed. -2038683991 (cant remember the seed phrase I used) the negative x and positive z axis has a nice ocean there are plenty of other options too if you travel into the thousands range. EDIT: screwed up the x axis.....

The hardcore bucket setting really makes the generated villages with a forge a pretty convenient starting base, with the lava and two furnaces right there next to each-other; and the center well makes for some good underground workrooms with an at-hand pillar of water (not to mention the existing fa...

I liked the idea of that one myself, though instead of what looks like a donkey or horse, strap up a wolf and "motivate" it to move about.
