GREAT Answer. Thanks!
That is what I kinda got out of reading previous posts on the subject.
He mentioned something about not playing on Large Biomes, etc.
Thanks again.

Which is better Large Biomes or Regular Biomes?
Hello all. Playing BTW again after a LONG break. (Haven't played ANYTHING else, really. I am very lazy, but I do LOVE BTW.) I want to start a new world and I am curious which one I should choose. I tried searching for "Large Biome" in the Discussion section and I did find some info -- VERY...

If the world were perfect...
I have learned late in life that "The world is FAR from perfect". However, if the world was perfect, BTW would be the vanilla Minecraft standard code base and all the other mods (which I haven't played in a VERY LONG TIME because I like BTW) would be added to it.

Good on you man. FlowerChild, I think your mod is the best. On a separate note: I always appreciated the fact that you shared your thoughts with us. Or is it that I like hearing your thoughts because I agree with your way of thinking? Who knows. I just like reading what you have to say. Maybe it is...

Re: What is an early game mob trap design
How early? I really enjoy building MTs in general and could slap one together at any stage. Depending on the drop rates you need, it will just be a matter of spawning pad size and how much of the surrounding area is lit up. I have many great designs depending on location, resources and desired drop...

What is an early game mob trap design
Hi All, I read in another thread about someone talking about their early game experience. It seemed to me that they were building an early game mob trap (EGMT). I am curious, What would be examples of such a thing. Like I have stated before, I FINALLY built my FIRST mob trap and it worked great but ...

Re: Do villages become abandoned - Possible Spoiler
Basically, what I am wondering is if the beacon changes my spawn location will villages within 2000 blocks of this new location become abandoned. Coordinates don't center on spawn, they center on 0,0, which can be a long way from spawn. Based on what FC said, no. New villages in a radius around the...

Re: Do villages become abandoned - Possible Spoiler
I think the OP would have accounted for Zombies if that were the case, given that this village is stated to be near his base. The other possibility that comes to mind Duke, is that you might be faced with one of a couple bugs. -SNIP- Notable caveat is that I've only seen these on SMP but then I've ...

Re: Do villages become abandoned - Possible Spoiler
Do you mean new generation villages? Obviously previously generated villages in unloaded or loaded chunks won't change. No idea about new generation villages. I had a village next to my second base (which became my main base). With one of the latest updates the village became "abandoned".

Do villages become abandoned - Possible Spoiler
Hi All,
Do villages become abandoned if we change spawn point with a SFS beacon?
(Meaning that the village will now be within 2000 block of spawn point.)
I don't have a beacon, yet, to test this.
Thanks in advance.

Do you have any beacons up and running? A nether mob trap perhaps, to provide gold and wither heads for said beacon? Automation of all the vegetables into a stew-machine? Automating wheat is one of the most fun challenges I've had in BTW. Thanks again all. Well, I started watching "Better Than...

Re: Suggestions for what to do next
1) Try automating the feeding of your wolves. It's easy, but very rewarding. 2) Automatic cow and pig farms for food and leather. Not always easy but rewarding. 3) Automatic wheat farm, and then hook it into your cow farm. 4) Automate a tree farm; not easy at all but VERY rewarding when you pull it...

Suggestions for what I should to do NEXT
Hi All, I have tried doing search for "what to do next" and "advanced btw" but no luck (too many hits for "do"). Here is what I have automated (the rest I do manually): 1. mob farm 2. wood processor 3. chicken farm that just lays eggs 4. soul urn factory (not completely...
