They spawn on netherbrick or netherrack just like the other nether mobs in the mod (they use the exact same tests). I don't want to restrict it further as that would mess with existing traps, plus, I see no reason why they shouldn't be able to spawn on netherrack in the immediate vicinity of the fo...

I assume that if you change it to the bounding box check of the fortress, they still would only spawn on nether brick?

You don't even need to refill it: if you right-click fast enough, you can get the block of water back, with some of it spilling in the lava (typically 2 or 3 blocks away). I seem to remember that being a no-no. Seems a bit cheaty to me at least. I'll stick with making the aqueducts or routing water...

My apologies once again for the initial instability of the release. After a weird start, I get a windmill going and a place set up to collect dung from my wolves.

I'll be trying to keep episodes between 25 and 40 minutes so Walker does not have to endure my one hour marathon episodes ;)
