Crucible display bug

Upon loading a world, any crucibles that have items in them do not show the lava inside until the inventory is updated.
Tested with and without texture packs, and without and without mcpatcher use.
Also redownloaded and and reinstalled to be sure.

Re: BTW Clans

Thanks for the support guys, and Elevatator your name suggestions made me lol so hard. If anyone could invvite me to the steam group I would gladly help with anything, plenty of free time until school. Also if anyone knows of a free server program (not steam) I have a spare box I could run a 8-10 ma...

BTW Clans

So after being a member on these forums for two months, I've found I really enjoy the community, and think it would be great if those of us who play don't play only Minecraft perhaps created a clan in some multiplayer games people often play. Not sure as to a name, but perhaps the Wolfaboos? feel fr...

Re: Indie games worth checking out!

Bastion is my favorite game of all time (behind Better Than Wolves Minecraft), the story line just enthralls me every time I play it, the gameplay is so tight, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Re: World restart syndrome

I have had issues with this as well, and the best cure I've found is to set goals for yourself such as build this this and these auto-farms, or if that doesn't help make a nether portal(mark down its co-ords in nether) then travel far away in nether, make a new portal then come out in new part of wo...

I deserve punishment :(

So my friends and I enjoy Minecraft more with BTW, but they are also less cynical towards games and mods than I am, so I let them talk me into playing a tekkit server with them, and I have been neglecting my BTW world, and I feel I need some sort of punishment for my sins, may the wrath of the BTW c...

Re: Lord of The Rings

When I read Silmarillion it felt like I was reading the bible. Or was it the other way around? It was a grand history type of thing, which is similar to much of the bible so that is totally understandable. I think I'll pick it up again after I finish A Dance with Dragons Please do not mention that ...

Re: Lord of The Rings

To be more precise, Morgroth, Sauron's predecessor was one of the Valar - the god or angel-like beings of the Tolkein cosmology. Gandalf, Saruman and Sauron were all Maiar, or 'lesser spirits'. I've always sort of equated these to nature spirits of Native American or other tribal cultures - but tha...

Re: Lord of The Rings

Sorry to disappoint Morv, perhaps we should begin discussing plans to have a picnic in Mordor with Flowerchild and Soron and... the tower of Soron looks like a flower (a very strange magical/ misshapen flower) and Flowerchild was born of a flower... Soron is Flowerchild's Dad? maybe... perhaps I'm j...

Lord of The Rings

So I feel like a complete idiot for not noticing this before, but the eye of enders look like the Eye of Soron from Lord of the Rings just a different color. Has anyone else noticed anything like this? Also interesting texture pack idea, Lord of the Rings based?
Just wanted to get this off my mind.

A History of Names

So I have noticed a lot of unique names in videogames, but especially among the Better Than Wolves community; so I am curious as to where peoples' names have originated. For example my name LJE (Liberty(Starcraft 2) Jam Empire) is from a clan I was in when I created my username, and Kadeshi is from ...

Re: Future BTW Server in need of master

Due to the fact I will be moving to school in fall, and my school has God-awful internet, and my computer will be coming with me, the server is no longer an option unfortunately.

Lock please.

Re: Purchasing a Computer

With a multi-core pc that has at least 2 GHz of CPU on each core, how would that be in my imagination? Oh... Well processing doesn't exactly work like that. :P Well then I have no idea how it would work. I just would like a multi-core processor that has (preferably) 8 GHz of processing capability; ...

Purchasing a Computer

So I love playing videogames on my computer, and I recently bought a $500 computer with 1 TB of hardrive 4.2 GHz of processing and 8 gb of ram (7.something available). While this computer runs games decently I would really like to buy a desktop with 16 or 32 GB of RAM and at least 8 GHz of CPU, does...

Hope to see some other people as well! Thanks Renevo for starting this...

So I am having a lot of trouble with getting the server to work with my normal IP address, would people be ok if I made it with Hamachi? For now it would only be vanilla of course.

If I do run a vanilla server I will run it with Bukkit so any suggestions for plugins I should use would be highly appreciated. Future BTW Server

Re: My texture pack mix (32x) (Update 1.2 v1.4) (BTW 3.71)

Hey battosay I love using the texture pack, never stop updating it please. However, I have noticed a few bugs, 1. iron armor legs don't render correctly in the back. 2. Lit furnace left side of pixels are all wrong. And 3. The wooden planks do not line up correctly if you look at them from a floor t...
