Some slabs (from what I've seen, all except wolf slabs) will protect mobs from burning in the daylight.

Ah, I see what you're saying. *Standing* on slabs prevents them burning. Your post came across as "mobs standing under slabs don't burn in sunlight", to which I thought "correct". It was only after repeatedly asking myself "why the fuck would anyone post that?" that I figured it out :P

I believe that's a vanilla thing, but I can take a look. Probably not hard to fix.

Yup, it was vanilla, but fixed for next release regardless given the increased prominence of slabs over general terrain in the mod makes it more of a thing.

Sorry for the misunderstanding man. Was a valid issue to be sure.
