To be fair, that could also be used to describe Indiana Jones.

....but yeh this is just stupid.

They made battleship, they're making Temple Run, next thing you know, they'll be doing Monopoly. That might be dated, perhaps they'll cover Angry Birds, but regardless, this is getting a bit ridiculous. :P

Apparently, Riddley Scott is working on a Monopoly movie...

I do not know what to say about that.

On the bright side, with so many board game movies being made, we could end up with something like Clue again.

Clue is just a mediocre adaptation of Agatha Christie, which isn't the greatest source material in the first place. So yeah, just go to the source and either read her books or watch direct movie adaptations instead of waiting for a movie about the board game inspired by the author.
