Bit confused about tech tree

ive been too distracted to play minecraft and i come back to find this mod advanced quite a bit, the one thing that im confused bout is what comes after the hand crank? the water wheel or the windmill?

Entirely depends on if you find slimes early or not! If you do, then the former. If not, the latter.

That's going to take a while : / ever since i got MC which was around 8 months ago, ive never encountered them on SSP. the only time Ive ever encountered slimes was on SMP

Well, you have to go with the windmill if you're using 2.92, since the waterwheel now requires you to have a saw to make - the blades can't be made with planks anymore, and you can't power a saw with a hand crank.

Check the OP of the mod's MCF thread. FC has restructured it to make the progression more obvious and easy to follow.
