BTW: Hard to Come by

I was really looking for someone to play BTW with me and my friend. But sadly, servers between the two of use have come far and few between. If anyone had a server, it'd be nice to play on one

Depends on the type of server you want.
I personally like anarchy kind. Just keep your builds as hidden as possible ;)
My personal favorite server: ehsansbtw.dyndns.org:25566 (Don't forget the port) Ehsan's
Also, try to just look through the actual forum with SMP servers listed instead of just asking which is best. Not sure if posting like this is against the rules or not; just some advice.

I'll second the advice that you should both choose a server that looks like fun, and apply for a spot on the whitelist.
The other option involves one of you setting up a server, or using some program to create a VPN. I keep hearing the word "Hamachi" but half the people spit after they type it. I can't really recommend it, as I have never used it.
