Just a heads up for folks that may be following the overall update process.

That was pretty quick. Having looked through some 1.3 code, are you feeling prepared for the update? I can't imagine what must be involved with the merged client/server code.

I don't know anything about coding/modding, but I'm pretty sure this is great news the everyone that is planning to update their mods.

Also, a big "HA HA" to those who spread the rumors about Risugami not updating to 1.3.

Indeed. I always took that as a silly dose of groundless panic, and that's exactly what it turned out to be.

I downloaded it seconds before you posted that, judging by the timestamp. I'll have a look at it tomorrow to see how it is. That's one step closer, eh? Good luck, FC. I'm not looking forward to upgrading my code, but once you manage to get through it, that will give me all the inspiriation I need to try and battle through.

I sincerely doubt he's adding hooks right now. IMO 1.3 will likely be the last version of MC for which ML exists, given its functionality is being built into the main code base for 1.4.

The update work for 1.3 is icky icky stuff. So he's here and sharing with us instead. :) It's probably not helping that we've been talking about interesting stuff for the last couple days!

Yeah, she's got it right there. Posting is so much more palatable and mentally stimulating than updating ;)

I also spent a couple of hours building a nice log-cabin yesterday in 1.3 while "testing" the new features :)

Just curious about the new enchanting, would you have the IF go to 50 or have it like the regular enchanter and only have it go to 30?

I stopped watching the MCF Modloader thread after a while.
The massive drooling tumour of posters was a bit much for me.
Not even the surgical skills of your pastries was helping much.

Yeah, don't know if you noticed, but a mod locked down the thread for a good day or so until the update was ready. It was getting rather ridiculous before then.

The BTW MCF thread is actually holding up pretty well so far. Pastries really do work wonders :)
