So... Placenta?

Post by RaustBlackDragon »

It just occurred to me that I've still never seen this placenta that's been added to animal birthing. Not once.

Does it only apply to breeding harness animals? Do the remnants of optifine (the classes that BTW doesn't override) prevent me from seeing it somehow (I have particles on)?

I feel like I'm missing out :(

I've been told the best viewing position for seeing the Placenta is below the animals giving birth. Maybe dig yourself down one block and feed your cows?

I've got my breeding animals in glass cages with glass floor and a viewing area underneath... don't judge me!

Oh, and I've seen placenta.

Are the particles on the right side placenta?

Placenta are the particles that seem like the water-driping-through-a-block particles, but in red. For me the best way to see them is having the animals with a breeding harness with at least one block separation and a hole in the midle or the baby animal to fall. The placenta should apear in the middle of the animals and stay for a few seconds.

Well, according to my experiences, it is created right where the baby spawns (in the air) and stays there, floating, for a second. Then it fall down to the ground like regular particles.

I just keep my animals about a block apart to see all the action.

The reddish string of particles that drips and drissolves away is the placenta, right?
