I found out today that you can not put torches on tables. Thought it would look nice to have torches in the center of my table similar to a candlabra.

When the mod was under forge, you originally could put torches on tables. Unfortunately that was one of the bits of functionality lost.

hmmm. It would be nice to get that back ^^. dunno what all broke when BTW moved from forge. thanks for the quick reply tho. Any word on this being unable to be fixed?

As it stands, it may come back once the official API is out - the only question is what that API is going to be exactly. If the official API does not include this ability, it's unlikely it will return.

As far as I know, the only reason why it was possible under Forge is because that modified something like 13 of Minecraft's classes to allow it to work, something FC was unwilling to do for aesthetics.

wow. yea, i can see why that would be annoying.

1) Place down a crafting table

2) Place a block two blocks above that crafting table

3) Try to place a torch on the bottom side of the block above the craft table

4) ???????

5) Profit!

Table, not crafting table.

They are talking about the table block from BTW, not crafting tables :p
