I searched the forums and i am new here, but here goes my idea for a new rail track idea, I have seen the turntable its pretty cool but i was thinking a track changer so you can flip a switch as your running along the track and it will jump you to a different track to go off into another direction or make a siding like a real train track.

We can do that in vanilla already can't we?

Here you go I found this a month ago or so and thought it was a pretty neat Idea. Now if you mix it with BTW pressure plates you can pretty much do a huge setup with... Just need to get the timing down. http://www.mcschematics.com/index.php?topic=7060.0

Pistons can push tracks too, so there's another alternative for you.
