who here thinks the ravines are too small?

when i first heard about them i thought they would be a great place to build a kind of bridge base but the ones I'm finding are barely 5 blocks wide and around 20 blocks long

I've seen some pretty big ones.
I wish I had saved the seed, but on the pre-release I was just generating map after map and on one I stuble across a ravine that was maybe 10-15 at it's widest and had to be close to 100 long.
