Endermen were nerfed so they only pick up natural-type blocks back in 1.0.

Well, I'm not sure if it was cobblestone or netherack but one day I found my multi-kiln fucked because of -one- bloc removed. wiki says I shouldn't, but I blame the endermen for that ^^

and I tend to build my monstrosities right on the grass :p

They may not be able to pick up the blocks to mess up my automation, but one did drop a dirt block right next to my turntable. Knocked my redstone torch off and brought the whole thing to a standstill. I now place glass above all my turntables. Sneaky little jerks, lol.

Basically:

-FC is now taking donations
-A single line of code was revealed. It contains a block ID for "fcHomePortal".
-A teaser video, which isn't available anymore, showed a few things about this update. the basic theory has something to do with your spawn point and with a portal/time machine/thing that uses 32 Steel blocks, 16 Obsidian and 2 diamond blocks.

I'll be honest, I still haven't made my soul urn machine more than semi-automatic. Until we have a way to automate the gathering of iron, that part is just to tedious to make me need more than 4-8 urns at a time.

This. The customers for the company I work for are primarily large mining operations and the very common misuse of 'strip mine' termonology in minecraft drives me crazy.
