I thought I'd share some screenshots of my Library/Alchemy house. It feels nice and cosy to me so figured it might be appropriate for this thread :)
(This was made before I had access to the saw, so no mouldings or sidings on it unfortunately)
As you walk through the door, library is off to the left with the enchanting table within those bookshelves of course. Alchemy lab is down the stairs
You can see the Alchemy lab here downstairs, and above it, leading up to a balcony bay window that overlooks the sawmill. Also the beam above seems to have been attacked by endermen! Will need to fix that
Some aesthetics up in the rafters!
The Alchemy Lab, tapping an adjacent pond for easy access to water for filling up those vials. The recipe list on the wall is just an image I made and added to the artwork to help with my appalling memory

The texture pack biases me somewhat, but that looks really nice and really really cozy. Well done.

Um... here's my home.
The door is very secure. I don't think I've ever seen anything get in.
Here's my storage area.
I-ah, um... I guess I ran out of leather.... sorry!
Here's my friend Josie. She's such a chatterbox, though, I tell you.
And this is where I can predict the future.

This looks really good :-)
In the fifth picture, we can see three tools strapped together on the right, beside the window. Is it a custom painting or something else ?

And this, not so well, be seems functional at least ^^ Laughed at the "'predict the future' window" :p

Not particularly. "Cozy" typically implies compact or small. What you have here looks like a healthy-sized settlement.

Oh man, that creeper is hilarious.
And that porch and the road to your cave-house are pretty sweet looking too.

I think you're confusing Michael Bay and J. J. Abrams. Anyway, why not post edited picks if he likes 'em?

Oh wow thank you magikeh, I haven't laughed that hard in a while! GJ.
Nice pictures/build in here. Interesting to see what people consider "cozy" builds. My first homes are always holes in a hill or mountain but that wouldn't fit here as they certainly don't have a cosy feel.
