I have to chime in on the details thing, FC. Your attention to them is what sets this mod apart. This just goes to prove there's no such thing as a "small" BTW update. :) The ones without big flashy features always add a lot of detail to the experience that makes it that much grander.

Thanks for another great update!

It may not look like much on paper, but few people realize how much the bigger updates rest on the shoulders of smaller ones like this one. Good to see a lot of old particle effects coming back and some new graphical (and performance) improvements as well.

Glad this update finally solved jaded's problem. That one has been there for a while, must have felt great to put a nice big "x" over it.

Thank you for this, I just swam backwards in the ocean for 800 blocks holding wheat to get cows and sheep to my islands, and it was incredibly annoying how easy it was for the animals to get too far away and lose interest.

I may have been away from the community lately, but I have to say, a bugfix update is always an important and very welcome update. Not that btw needs it often, but if a certain other group of people we all know could get under this mentality...

But I digress. Bino, we need a placenta painting to be the emblem of the march of the particles :p

The tempting item increased range thing is great!

Now I can play that part of the game as intended. Before it was like...

Me: "Come on, cow."
Cow: "MOO?" - I dont speak cow but I think it said "I'm tired of walking or some such"
Me: : "Don't be scared, come ON cow"
Cow: "Moo."
Me: "We need to make the the slaughterhou---errr Pleasant Farms by nightfall!"
Cow: *runs away, down hill*
Me: *Chase after cow, smash its head in 15 times with a block of dirt*
Me: /gamemode 1 cembandit

Bit weird...

I agree, we do need a placenta painting...
Maybe a guy holding some wheat, shouting: FOR PLACENTA! Or something along those lines.

Bit weird, yes, but very true. My experience is rather similar... I do believe this just became my favorite non-physical feature of BTW, exceeded only by the fixed teleporting wolves and ocelots glitch. Kudos.

Massive update under the hood. Very, very nice. Plus the increased range of the "animal lure" will save me a lot of frustration. So, thank you!

Love the update! Great work! I appreciate the background stuff almost more than new features. The improved btw item performance will help keep my server running smoothly as players start hitting the upper tiers.

A new update?
With performance optimization?

Excellent.
Thanks, FC, for paying attention to the little things that make playing the game smoother for us. These details are much appreciated.

hey, I maintain a texturepack for BTW, but I I can't find the new stoked flame texture in files. Any info would be helpful....

Edit: sorry about the unintentional necro. The way I read the thread all I saw was "the is no flame texture". I didn't know it was progmaticly generated.

Epic necro man... Bad form.

In answer stoked flame is programmatically generated. There is no texture available.
