Well I think I win in the screen size department, as well as no desk :P My tower is behind the TV as well as my subwoofer for the speakers. Hmm dare say I probably have the most clutter when it comes to cables :P

I just uploaded four photos of my desk to an imgur album.

I try to keep it clean and organized, since I spend so much time at my desk.

I don't want to come across mean, but you guys are really messy. On my desk at the moment is my laptop, mouse, speakers, German homework and a pad of paper.

Kregoths "desk" is a complete and total mess while whitechaos's desk is an imaculate temple....

My desk is not messy. It's lived in. Seriously... when work is slow I spend 90% of my awake time at my computer.

No, I was referring to your desk. Despite it being a reference to a book you like, I still find it funny, that someone who chooses chaos as a nick is as anal about the tidiness of his desk :D.

This is my first post on your forums. I just figured here would be a good place to introduce myself and show you my messy desk.

I usually only play at work... got too much toddler chasing to do at home.

This is my desk.
Note: it's about 80% less cluttered than usual...to give you a mental picture, normally you can't see the color of the wood of the desk. But I always get fed up and clear it at that point...Somehow those damned elves find a way to come back and make a mess of it. *mutters incoherently*

Desk?

I'd like to figure out how people take pics of their monitor and are able to see the desktop, not just a blinding square of white...Is there a trick to it?

Using a flash helps. Also put it at an angle.

Looking at some of the other folks here, I guess I can be less concerned that my desk is messy. However, I did go through a massive cleaning and organizing spree recently. WARNING: the camera I used to take these pictures is kinda stupid, so the images are grainy and ugly.

First shot: Yes, that is a Dell case, but the parts are not stock. Same shot, without the flash, so you can see my snazzy lighting. :D And, close-ups of the side-panel of my PC, and a recent addition: I redstone LARP'd a toggle switch to control the neon light that shines on my keyboard, so I no longer have to crawl under my desk when I want to sit in the dark and still see my keys. Plus, it makes a noise similar to the lever in MC when I toggle it. :D

I'm loving the padlock.
