Hey guys. First i must say, that all this mod-stuff is very new for me. I just played minecraft vanilla before, but than i saw videos on youtube about this amazing mod and other videos about an other amazing mod called buildcraft, and i was overwhelmed about the possibilities. So i want to install both mods, and after a hard time of searching and learning about customizing minecraft, i found out how to install "better than buldcraft" and i was more than happy. Thank you very much for this mod!

Now i have one elementary question:
As I have said before, i have installed the latest version of BtB, and, according to installation-instructions, also installed BtW v3.491. Now the new version of BtW is out.
My question is, can i simply overwrite the old files of BtW with the new files or have i to wait for a new version of BtB to update the BtW-Part?

Yes you can. FC has made it very easy to update to a new version of either mod.

Just to add to the above always good to back up your jar before trying this for future updates may not work like that.
