Maybe you could make some extra note items for the counts, or just one that says "lots"

It SHOULD, as they are actual recipes, you just can't use them without hacking the fake items.

Has anybody noticed any recipes I'm missing? I want this to be as useful as possible.

I can't remember, but did you have the re-smelting of tools in the crucible?

Update on the sprites, I am about 2/3's done, so I should have them done soon.

I hadn't considered that, but I feel that's more of a "Function" of the crucible than a set of recipes, if you know what I mean.

Alright, I updated it. Changelog:

*Added more saw recipes, fixed mistake in wood output.
*Added images, courtesy of Walker_boh_65
*Added broadhead arrowhead recipe
*Fixed detector block recipe to actually have the detector block as its output.

Lemme know what you think! I've still got a couple of bugs here and there, mainly with pottery and the like.

This is really great. Just got a chance to take a look at it.

Something I had asked for was a few pictures. I figured I'd take the initiative and do it myself now that I have it installed.

Could share this in the OP.

Love it!
Only thing though, got a bug or 2 to report:
1) the recipies for the collumn and pedestal say that they produce the block version of the urn, with an urn for every stone used
2) all the items shown in the recipies are available in creative mode.

Question: did you make this mod by making sevaral items with names such as 'put in kiln', and then tell the recipie book recipies that included them?

Yes, that's exactly how I did it. There's no other way you could possibly get those items besides creative mode, so the recipes themselves are unusable. They are, however, still informative.

As for the column and pedestal, they seem to all be compressed into one multiform block, and I'm having difficulty finding how to specify which one it should be in the recipe.

I'll give the code one more good look, see if I can find it.

Can't you just specify the damage value ? Just like colored wool ?
'cause that's how it works :)
216:1, 216:2 etc for the non-opaques, and 215:x for the opaques

THANK YOU!

I was so confused, I thought he might have done something different. Not sure why. Guess it was a derp on my part. Expect an update in a few hours when I get back :)

Hope you all like the sprites. If you find anything confusing, so something seems off, just let me know.

Took me quite some time to figure out that they grey thing next to the steel tools was the Anvil. Besides that, it's very easily understandable :)

Right then, unless you guys notice some glaring issues I managed to completely miss in the next hour or so, I'm gonna post this on the minecraft forums.

Does FC take issue with people using Adcraft for expansion packs they make to his mod?

Nope. That's your work man. You have every rights on it.
As long as there is nothing from FC's mod. Which is your case.
So yep, you're good to go.

As for the amount of items required for glue/tallow, since you can't use stacks, couldn't you create a fake "8 bones" item, or "16 eggs" item, with the texture of a bone/egg with the corresponding amount required in the .png itself ?
Might be confusing for new players if it's not explained that you need several items.

As long as you aren't redistributing files from the mod, you can do whatever you like :)
