Speculation: I'd guess that you're removing arrows as skeleton drops. Making the too-many arrows problem from mob-traps a non-issue, and making chickens necessary to get a larger supply of feathers to make your own arrows, especially since you recently made bones more valuable

If that's the case that's great, if not I'm looking forward to the surprise. :)

No actually. While I considered that option it has a number of downsides in terms of breaking existing builds and also in invalidating the use of Bellows as a filtration device in separating bones from arrows, which is turning into a particularly interesting mechanic given the new uses of bonemeal in the mod, and the need to separate out arrows to prevent them jamming up Mill Stones.

It would also feel like a rather lame nerf given the skeletons do fire arrows, so it's fairly natural to assume that you'd get some upon their death.

So no, that's not it :)

a) reduce the damage of Arrows
b) making them part of the broodhead recipe (but in large quantities)
c)making them rare drops

d) no more ideas what it could be
Consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative

Maybe it's a new use for arrows like Chinese style rockets with bundles of arrows a warheads! Or an elf bow that fires multiple arrows at once! Or not...

Perhaps we'll have to glue arrows to mouldings to make plates of spikes, which could then be used for a variety of nefarious purposes. We could strain stuff through them. Or put them on the ends of pistons. Or wear them as armor, so we can damage zombies by hugging them. Or put them in pits covered with vine traps. Or commit ritual self-mutilation to honor Cthulhu. Or something.

Rampant speculation is a bit out of control now guys, and bordering on suggestion territory.
