I was asked to make an install guide for this, but I was wonder where you guys thought would be the best place to have it? Should it be a post in this thread? Added to the OP? Another thread entirely? A fourth option? A fifth?

There is a conflict between nightmare mode and BTW, the ze.class. Anyone knows what it does, what functionality would be lost, or what should be loaded last?

Crashed, gave an error message saying a base class conflict.

Order of everything:
Modloader
GUIAPI
Somnia
Nightmare Mod
Zombie Awareness
BOD
BTW

And this ran fine. I do not know what issue will occur, but it launched.

TileEntityMobSpawner

ze.class is an optional class for Nightmare mode, just install BTW last and you won't even lose anything.

What's everyone's thoughts on finite water? It's more or less compatible now. Does it change the balance in any way?

The only balance problem I can see with finite water is the ability to move water around using pipes that don't require any form of power. Unless you count redstone.

EDIT: Just forgot that Hardcore Buckets are optional. So my argument only applies if you're using Hardcore buckets.

Hmmm... So Finite Water has pipes to transport water, and BTW has HCB mode... Sounds like Finite water might be good to run with BTW... One could say... BTW Pure...

But IMHO, I don't like Finite Water becaude of the changed water mechanics.
I think they're weird.

Meh, I'm thinking the finite water part is BTW pure, but the oil, methane and all the other shit it adds is just poor.

So yeah, good mixer, but I'm not going to put it in the OP

I have a personal bytecode injection version of BTW now that works with every mod out there :3. I do have to work on Forge compatibility, but this is awesome.

I might release a patcher that patches this into BTW in the future

Don't ask for it, I can't distribute it anyway, just be jealous for now :D

Great work with that, though.

I don't know if that's just me or it's a bug, but I had a problem with zombie awareness. For some reason when I installed it all animals stopped following me when I held wheat. Just thought I'd mention in case anyone notices that behaviour. Might be a bug with the path finding.

Actually I experienced this as well. No way to attract farm animals with wheat :(

Seems Zombie Awareness doesn't differentiate between Hostile and Passive mobs by default. Also, fence based farms become useless because the mobs will stack on each other and climb out. I was chasing pigs and cows all over the place.

Now that I think about it, maybe placing them in the "black list" would work... I may have to try that out some time.

That sounds like a bug. Try running just that mod and vanilla, I suspect it's got nothing to do with compatibility. Someone should notify the author in that case.

Just wanted to suggest the Invasion Mod again. There are no class conflicts nor item conflicts so it looks like it will sit with BTW well. Atleast MCPatcher didn't complain when I installed it. Here's the link again http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/780 ... gh-do-you/.

BTW, won't soul cages conflict with BTW now that Mossy Cobble is farmable? I haven't looked into it to much, but I imagine they both want to edit the Spawner classes.

Yeah, I already know this. I'm in contact with the author, so I'm on top of things :). Will try to find a solution

Open up you minecraft.jar but searching for %appdata%, clicking on the .minecraft folder, than the bin folder to find it. (Sorry no pictures for this part)

Now time to start installing mods into you .jar:

The first mod you want to put in is ModLoader. Find the Modloader-1.zip file and drag and drop it into your .jar:

Next you want to put in the GuiAPI-0.12.0-1.0.0.zip into your minecraft jar file:

The next zip to go in is the [1.0.0] Somnia v17 ML.zip:
