I created my username when I was 13 for my Steam account. I took the first half of my name and added the first number to come to mind. Surprisingly, it stuck with me despite my awful memory.

I laughed when I first heard the name in Avatar TLA ;p
Really? That's kind of awesome. xD

Thus far from what I've seen of TLA, Katara doesn't have the greatest luck anyway, so maybe it's accurate.

I remember mine vividly, actually. It was like 5th or 6th grade, me and my buddy were hanging out at this playground that we frequented. He said something along the lines of "and you'll be called Agent Wiggles," which was a botched Futurama reference (in one episode or another Fry says "and I'll call you Wiggles" or something). Anyway, I thought it sounded kind of cool, and it stuck. For about a decade now...

Bman - My nickname given to me by my uncle at age 4
Foley - My last name

I first created this username for my very first email account at age 12. I was too lazy to be bothered with multiple usernames, so this is what it has been ever since. I know it's a bit "personal" because it reveals my name, but I'm not too concerned about it. A lot of people already have my username associated with my real name.

I have use the name Xanty for the last 13 years and I just made it up. The first time I used it was on my druid in everquest The Zon was added from when Meu got me playing second life. The people closest to me in RL call me Xanty now.
Is it better to have posted and failed or to have never posted at all?

When I got my Xbox when they came out, I needed to make a gamertag, I really couldn't think of anything interesting so I just took my last name Dodsworth, and put "Da" in front for like slang of the. I go on a couple of places by TheDodsworth.

The best part is when people first see my name and call me Dad-odsworth and shorten it to Dad which is amusing.
