Though the timing for the cracked/mossy bricks seems a bit more random. I have 20 units set up already, and in 2-3hours, they produced from 2 to 14 bricks.
So a timer would be pretty unefficient. The Buddy Block is perfect here, but it uses more ressources ;)

Nah man, not at all. Talking about using the new features is fine by me, as I *am* always very interested in seeing how they play out.

Speaking of which, how does the output "feel"? Too fast, too slow? I didn't build a full automated setup when working on this feature, but rather balanced based on manual harvesting, trying to make it slow enough to encourage automation, while not so slow as to be frustratingly so.

Hmmm... 2 hours playing, 3 hours afk, so 5 hours : 3 stacks of cracked bricks, 3 of mossy, with 10 module for each kind.
Seems good to me :)
Maybe a tiny bit faster, but not much.

Not that it matters much but I haven't disappeared. I've been stalking the forums still but I've been away programming and playing my mod on a server.

I'd like to take the time and say "holy cow" (Stupid beer)! Thank you for your great mod FC. I love programming as I do it by trade (never knew Java before this though) but mod making is pretty crazy. Mine is just a bukkit mod and seems to be going over well with me buds but I can't fathom doing anything as intense as a BTW; graphics and all... WOW.

Like I said I haven't been playing much BTW lately but I'm still giggling with glee with the updates.

Anyone else having trouble getting mossy cobble to develop or does it just take an ungodly long time? I have approximately 20 cobble lined up with water over them and dripping through, 30 minutes and not a single mossy cobble :(

I have no extra mods installed, only the texture pack that battosay recommended for use with btw(which looks great by the way)

Mossy brick are generated by dripping water, mossy cobble is generated by placing cobble near a monster spawner.

Just wanted to give a huge shout out and a thank you to FC. I just upgraded from 3.62 to 3.72 and not one of my monstrosity contraptions has failed. I work in the programming field and backwards compatibility is huge.

I have been away from BTW for a while, playing AMCO instead, however I came back because I missed my wolf farms. Now you have ways to make my favorite decorative blocks? I'm never leaving again. Seriously, I love you FlowerChild.

Oh, BTW- I like the random timing on making the mossy/cracked, but it is rather too random IMHO sometimes. I have had times from like 15 seconds to like over 5 minutes! I'm still experimenting with automation and collecting raw materials, still awesome though!
