Did I miss Disney's purchase of Nintendo at E3 or something? Still looks awesome.

:O A Disney film that interests me ? Wow ! This is unheard of ;)

Have they bought the rights to all those characters like Eggman and Bowser ? Not sure how that works :/

Disney probably has the resources to license those characters from their respective companies.

Anyways, this looks great, I can't wait to see it.

It's jo pereira, the one who draws NerfNow.
He draws himself as a purple tentacle, probably inpired in Maniac Mansions´s purple tentacle.

Yeah but Disney does it so well, plus it seems like they picked up a few tips from Pixar, which is good in my opinion!

I'm expressing skepticism, namely because this is Disney computer animation without "Pixar" being mentioned in the same breath. I'm afraid that without Pixar at the wheel, this has no guarantee of being good.

Still might be though.

And I really hope it is.

Haven't Disney proven themselves already? Given movies such as Pinocchio and The Lion King? Nothing against Pixar. They're awesome, but I'm pretty sure Disney can handle themselves.

Also, did anyone see Tangled? Very good movie imo, CG animation too.

They've proven themselves, but they aren't perfect, like Pixar is, so I'm just saying there's still the possibility that this isn't going to be good.

Yeah, I wouldn't use perfect as a description either.
Disney has proven that they can produce great animated movies, but imo Pixar is way better to make the movie enjoyable for viewers of any age by creating dialogue and gags that seem like innocent fun to children, but you get so much more out of them, if you're older.
And this movie really screams for a background reference or an inside joke here and there, so I would definitely prefer Pixar, but I'm willing to give Disney a change.
(Although my taste seems to differ from others here, I wanted to watch tangled, but stopped after about half an hour. It was a great movie for children with really nice animation, but I missed the lack of any content targeted towards a more mature audience.)

I have to ask a question to these Pixar/Disney thing.
It does matter?, really ? For me the most important thing is story, all other aspects are non important or what u say? With Wall-e they have prove it another time that they can do it.
Don't understand people today, my Friends say" I want to go to view Battleship in 3D"( I never have seen it and never do, only read the plot) I say: " Shit still is shit also if you watch the shit in 3D and if you can smell in Films you notice it"

Edit: Don't want to say that "Wreck-It Ralph" is not a good movie I wait till i see it"

Not to take anything away from Pixar, because they are one of my favourite companies when it comes animated films. That said I don't think that Pixar is the only studio in the business capable of writing funny jokes, nor do I think that Disney doesn't have all the resources they need to produce a great movie. It all depends on what direction they decide to take the movie, and considering that it seems to be aimed towards people who grew up in arcades I have a feeling it will contain it's fair share of flirts with that audience.
