If they are, would that make the Testificates a collective Wicked Witch o' the West?

The scarecrow should be a wolf. They obviously need a brain.

By that logic, then the Zombies should be the Scarecrow, as they want brainsssss ....

Wanting a brain and having one doesn't necessarily go together. ;)

the testificates are obviously munchkins. We have the tin man iron golem. the cowardly wolf. and I think the skeleton should be the scarecrow. The ender dragon is the wicked witch. endermen being flying monkeys. which leaves us with zombies...
And HOW!

I still maintain that Zombies want brains, and hence are the scarecrow (If I only had a brain (I'd eat it)).
Hence it is skeletons who we need a use for.

And is Steve Dorothy or the Wizard?
And what of Glinda?

Steve is Dorothy. The Wizard is Notch. FC is Glenda. And the new update will add Ruby Slippers.

Glenda the Good Witch

Edit: She gave Dorothy the ruby slippers.

She had a name? I always assumed she was just the "Good Witch". Man, I totally didn't do as much experimenting as I thought I did if you guys ended up on a first-name basis with her and I didn't :(

Glenda the Good Witch

Edit: She gave Dorothy the ruby slippers.
I still maintain that dorothy is a master thief and actually took the slippers with nobody noticing, then made it look like glenda did it with magic. in revenge, glenda turns dorothy into her personal assassin for her plot to kill the rest of the witches so she'd be the only one with magic and free to lead a hostile take over of oz, funded by the mafia/lollipop guild

edit: anyway, wouldn't toto be a wolf?
the cats can be the lion (or maybe the endermen, since they teleport away all the time)
and the flying placentas can be the monkeys :D (which I guess makes FC the WWotW? (makes sense, he melts if he makes contact with water)

WWotW = Wicked Witch of the West.

That would be in the M&M sense; it melts in you mouth, not in your hand.

Yeah, the spiny exoskeleton holds in all the juicy stuff inside until he solidifies again.

Haha, well this was busy while I was at college today!

Yeah, Glinda is the good witch ... And Nessa and Elpheba are the Wicked Witches of the East and West respectively.

I've never read the books, and I never much cared for the musical. It's all Wicked's doing that's got me into it recently, and now I want to read the proper books.

For those that don't know, Wicked is a book (or a musical, as that's how I know it - Being a music student means I'm allowed to love them ;)) which tells the story of Oz from the perspective of The Green Witch. Spoilers:
Spoiler
Show
The Green Witch is good (And the other two witches are good too), and it is the story from their school days up to Dorothy killing the "Wicked Witches", and the Wizard being an evil force. It's a nice twist, perfect for the kinds of people who see Steve as a monster ;).

This ... Is beautifully terrifying ;).

Most of the original Oz books are available for free on Project Gutenberg. I've read three or four of them that way.
