What the hell is Curse Premium and why am I one? I don't remember paying them anything. :/

What the hell? I've seen ads on MCF before, but I always figured it was something you payed for to get beta access for some games, the right of having a pretty blue name, etc. Why you have it without paying... Let me go try and sign up for it, see how it goes.
Edit: Just tried it, and apparantly, it is paid, at $30 a year or $5 a month.

The only purpose I've ever heard of Curse Premium really being for is for so you can download/install multiple mods at a time with their client (which you could do for free with the client for ZAM's mod site).

If you didn't pay for a premium account, then I'd either say a weird mistake has been made in the system, or Miss_Kat's theory. If Miss_Kat is correct, then whomever purchased it for you didn't spend their money very wisely. Curse's prime accounts are lame and pointless. :\

My theory is that it happened when I posted a plugin to BukkitDev. BukkitDev syncs with Curse, so the plugin was automatically posted on Curse as well. I have no idea what that has to do with Curse Premium, but it's the only thing I can think of.
