This is true, we had a lot of trouble when my mum was setting up her business earlier this year.

But as far as names for Kaos' add-on go, I'm sure no-one would mind if it was named the same as a magazine or a superstore ... Especially if he sticks to the plan to keep it just here.

The thing about trademarks is that they only apply to the name in combination with a certain scope. Technically, you're quite in your rights to start a computer-unrelated business called Microsoft (practically, I suspect you'll still be sued to pieces >.>). In the case of a mod name, I wouldn't worry about trademarks too much.

Granted, it was on creative on a superflat world, but it's what I will be building on my main once this is released with definitive block IDs :).

Animation wise, the fireflies in the lanterns fly around, and the mead barrel drips :).

I haven't done the items or mobs yet (because I haven't done them for anything yet), but I've done all your terrains. Which means that my v0.2 of my pack will include them once I've managed to upload them :).

This was sort of an unintended feature. I didn't think about it at first, but I don't think I'm going to change it now.

So far I'm really enjoying the updated version. So I have a question.

You say that these aren't the final block IDs, and that when we get the extended IDs you're going to change them. That's cool. I'm avoiding using certain blocks extensively because of this. Narratively I can accept that my Sakura trees and pretty flowers died overnight and need to be replanted, but my walkway disappearing would be weird.

Anyway, my question is what about item IDs? Because I'm at the point where I can start farming some stuff extensively, and I'm wondering if stashing it in item form will be safe from the block ID apocalypse.
