I like it. I've been wanting something different for one of my entrances in burpcraft, This might well do it. Will look good for 2x3 as well, always a plus.

it took a bit of messing around, but I've got myself a nice pressure-plate activated 2x3 version in my test world now. Gonna need to see if my entrance in the nether has enough space to fit it.

Also, something that made me curious. Look at this picture:

If you put a redstone torch where the torch is, it'll pop off immediately. Wierd.
