How to Correctly Install BTB v3.26 with Pictures MC 1.2.5 :)

Hello i installed the entire package following your directions completely and it would start the game allow me to select the world then a black screen.. I decided to fresh install minecraft and install the mods one at a time to see what was the problem.

Anyway i got to the part of installing better than wolves and it did the same thing to me. I just copy and past my modloader .txt right?? Here it is if so

as u can prob tell i also have Single player commands Worldedit CUI and Too many items installed.. those three together work fine untill i try to add better then wolves.. what am i doing wrong? ME = stupid??

Actually the game loads to the point where it says SAVING CHUNKS,. then it took me in game i saw the item bar but the rest of the screen was black. then it crashed and said an error but was too quick to see then it just went black again...

No, you just install it second. The composite bow doesn't animate, but afaik, it should still work

This is my understanding of it as well, but SPC MUST be installed lasted.

Well who can live without the Composite bow.... those who are terraforming land of course! You know it is kinda convenient that SPC modifies something most SPC users won't use.

Ok i just wanted to let everyone know that the problem i had was solved by installing single player commands at the very end. If anyone else has this problem, that is what you have to do.

You need to install the 3.1.3 series of BC not the 2.2.12. Link for that is in the OP.

thats hardcore bucket mode, in that mode you cant use buckets.

Yes, you need to look in the BtB zip, and you should if a config file.txt (or something of the like), move that into your .minecraft folder. Then open the .txt and change this:

I remember seeing someplace(s) that even though you installed ModloaderMP 1.1, it still shows 1.0, not sure if a fix was ever released for that.

Hey can you help me i can't get BTB to work and i got this when i opened it from installing it. It worked until i put the minecraft.jar from the BTB folder and i transferred the items in the forge folder to the original minecraft folder. Can you please help me?

Ok. I deleted my .minecraft folder (after making a backup of course to keep the minecraft-1.2.3.jar file)
I'm using WinRAR 4.10
I followed the installation instructions to the letter. I have no other MODs installed.

I verified the installation order was the one recommended. Not much more I can say on the matter. It's pretty straightforward. Installation was simple enough, it just doesn't seem to work.

Looks like for some reason you need to change block ids.

It's the same block twice. Looks more like he's adding BTW twice or something odd like that.

Minecraft just stop in blackscreen or earlier, however i got no Modloader report.
I tried to install Minecraft again, but it still dont work.
I checked twice if the BC parts are corectly installed.
