BTW 2.64 for 1.7.3 still available anywhere?
BTW 2.64 for 1.7.3 still available anywhere?
I'm looking to run BTW alongside the Aether, and since this is only possible in 1.7.3 using BTW 2.64, I was looking for a download link to that version. I couldn't find one, so does anyone know where I might be able to get it?

It isn't publicly available, FC disables downloads to older versions in order to make support reasonably possible. So you'll need FC to decide to make that version available to you, which is probably unlikely.Retama wrote:I'm looking to run BTW alongside the Aether, and since this is only possible in 1.7.3 using BTW 2.64, I was looking for a download link to that version. No, I leave the last release for each version of MC available for download. I just don't support the process, which includes digging for links for people.Mason11987 wrote: It isn't publicly available, FC disables downloads to older versions in order to make support reasonably possible. If you want to find them, you can just as easily run a search for the release threads as I can.

I could only find release threads going back as far as 2.66.FlowerChild wrote:No, I leave the last release for each version of MC available for download. I preface all my release posts on MCF with:
[*** NEW RELEASE ***]
Which should make searching for them extremely easy.
I may vary the number of asterisks involved, but "* NEW RELEASE *" should get all of them.

I found it, but... it's set to private.FlowerChild wrote:I preface all my release posts on MCF with:

(That one does work for 1.7.3 as well as 1.7.2, correct?)

Which version of the mod? There are generally multiple releases for each Minecraft version, and it's only the last (or most recent) that I leave as public.Retama wrote:I found it, but... it's set to private.FlowerChild wrote:I preface all my release posts on MCF with:

That's your problem. The last release for 1.73 was 2.94.Retama wrote: 2.64. Post #9769.

This is absolutely the only time I will ever post something like that though.

Thanks for the link, but supposedly only 2.64 will work for this.FlowerChild wrote:That's your problem. The last release for 1.73 was 2.94.Retama wrote: 2.64. Post #9769.

I'll just run separate installations for each.

2.94 "works" IIRC, but the order in which you install will have one of two effects:Retama wrote:Thanks for the link, but supposedly only 2.64 will work for this.FlowerChild wrote:That's your problem. The last release for 1.73 was 2.94.Retama wrote: 2.64. Post #9769.

BTW then Aether: the detector block won't work, a number of small issues (nothing game breaking, can't remember exactly what though)
Aether then BTW: the aether portal won't work, no other issues.
For a time back then I had two jars (on in each order) that I would switch between as needed.

Sorry, by my response I was just relating that you had said you set all outdated BTW releases for each version to private, like 2.64 is for 1.73.FlowerChild wrote:No, I leave the last release for each version of MC available for download. Re: BTW 2.64 for 1.7.3 still available anywhere?
Will I be unable to create Aether portals, use existing ones, or both? I've heard several ways. If I can't make new ones I'd be fine with that, but not being able to use existing ones might be an issue.Stormweaver wrote:2.94 "works" IIRC, but the order in which you install will have one of two effects:Retama wrote:Thanks for the link, but supposedly only 2.64 will work for this.FlowerChild wrote:That's your problem. IIRC, you can use existing ones just fine, but you can't make new ones.Retama wrote:
