How does one dye them? I've never figured it out :(

Like you dye wool.

put the vase and the colour of your choice in your crafting grid and woopla!

ugh... here I am trying to dye them in the kiln, crucible, cauldron, and even the same way you would die sheep, and to no avail. And here it's as simple as a crafting grid T.T
