That happened to me too. I spent about 7 months, most of which I was actually 21, convinced that I was 23

Re: Weekly Poll: #3 How old are you?
Soon to be 27, in February. I usually forget about my own birthday until it's just a few days away.

23, about to turn 24, only remembered my birthday was in a couple weeks when my wife asked me what I wanted.

Re: Weekly Poll: #3 How old are you?
On my graduation from technical school, my dad bought me some scratch tickets. Forgot that I was 19, not 18, when I went to cash in on the two that I did win something on.

I'm 22 and have 2 year old son. His mother and I will have been together for 5 years next month. My point being no noose compares to fatherhood AND long term commitment.MoRmEnGiL wrote:Aren't you a bit young to be married? Re: Weekly Poll: #3 How old are you?
lol, that made me giggle.
Anyhow, what worries me a bit is that there is someone older than 50 here.
And by worries I mean amazes me. I wish when I hit that number a couple of decades from now I retain the will and interest in fun things as well. Unlikely since most of the people who are close to me call me "old grumpy" for the better part of the last decade -_-

Re: Weekly Poll: #4 Where are you from?
I think you should split Europe up into others because I live in the UK and it feels weird being classed by the whole of europe.
UK and then N,E,S,W Europe, seeing as the UK is a whole separate island to the rest of Europe ;)

Re: Weekly Poll: #4 Where are you from?
I thought about that ... my problem with this is that it isn't clear what N/E/S/W-Europe is ... and this is a question of continents so I wouldn't split the UK off of Europe. Also if I started splitting things I'd have to start with North America because most people on these forums are from there (or so i think) ... I only have space for 10 possible answers ...FurkeyRefills wrote:I think you should split Europe up into others because I live in the UK and it feels weird being classed by the whole of europe.

Seriously? So Ireland and Iceland would be separate too? So which part does Northern Ireland belong to? What will you do with Malta? Crete? Etc?FurkeyRefills wrote:I think you should split Europe up into others because I live in the UK and it feels weird being classed by the whole of europe.

It seems also that people from Canada don't want to be associated with the rest of North America. Can't says I blame 'em.
Re: Weekly Poll: #4 Where are you from?
Well, of course not! Silly Europeans, always trying to keep the money for themselves and protesting whenever they have to give anything up! Grumble, grumble.Gilberreke wrote:FurkeyRefills wrote:I love how people in the UK really don't want be associated with Europe :D
Yes, I was stereotyping massively there. No offence meant to France, Battosay! Or to your country either, miscellaneous European forum reader.
