Name change of mod

With everything that you've added to this mod, it is worthy of a name change.

As such, I have a few ideas, some are good, some bad.

Here is a list, feel free to add to, vote against, vote for, etc etc:

Flower Child's Better Technology.

" " Terminal of Technology(+wolf companion cube <3)

That's it for now.

While this name is unique, and is certainly memorable, If you are anything like me, you would overlook it, thinking it had something to do with a new animal to replace wolves. I never downloaded this, or even looked at the thread until my friend showed me what it really was.

My thoughts were as follows: "Holy crap, Not Square??!! Quarter blocks??!! SQUEEE!!!~~~" and yes, I'm a guy.

Not to mention wind/water mill made me smile. A must have.

Again, feel free to +1, -1, flame, berate, support, endorse, So on so fourth, I just think it would be better to change the name to something that would draw attention to the true aspects of this mod.

First post 16 minutes after registering, so far so good ... 4 minutes later banned ... nice! ;)

Actually, when the whole tech mod pack debacle was going on I banned someone ~3 minutes after the account was created :p

So he loses his account over "Flower Child's Better Technology"? Seriously? I mean if I was going to just flush mine I'd at least take a bit longer than 10 seconds to think up a new title for it.

It's not that much of a problem to get yourself a new IP ... but still, don't do it. It's more annoying than fun.

Name should be changed to something generic and flavourless like 'techcraft' or something.

If anything, I kinda feel this is getting old: "Windmills, water wheels, fully functional elevators, and more!"

because there is so, so much more. But It still sums it up nicely for the moment.

I thought it was already established that if the mod was to change name, it would be for something more descriptive and original, like FlowerCraft or Mo'Blocks or my favorite: Better Than Your Mom. Anyway, I think we all agree that the current name is great and should stay.

With all that you've added, calling it "better than wolves" is seriously an understatement.

...Well okay, it was ALWAYS an understatement, but now it's an extreme understatement.

Your mod is better than wolves. So is mine. So are most mods worth their salt. Is my mod the equal of your mod? No!

I honestly don't expect the name to change ever. At this point, the name has stuck. It has stuck with doornails, super glue, cement, and adamantium-wool-and-barbed-wire velcro.

From that statement, you are insinuating that I am a lesser being, one that can be ridiculed like a child. I assure you, this is not the case. I read your sub-forum rules, and I placed a suggestion based on those rules. If this was against the rules, then LIST it in your rules.

I figured that you would much rather have a thread on your forum about that, one where you had the final say. From your actions, I see you as a rash person who judges FAR before you have any evidence to back you.

I'm one of those people who don't bother reading the trash spam from users(in the minecraft forums), so I only read the mod details, and just that.

If this does indeed turn out to be a perma-ban based on a lack of knowledge, then I really have nothing more to say. The information speaks for itself.

I also posted that info at 6.46 am or so, I was dead tired.

He does have a point (name change suggestions are not listed in the rules). I don't think this was any worse than suggestions like diamond saws, maybe a temporary ban would be more appropriate? If he continues posting stuff like this it's not hard to permaban him again.
