Possessed pork - Immoral transportation for Steve

Simple, fun idea. Well, I think it's simple and fun at least...but whatever. It's probably not so much simple as it is 'relatively complicated'. But my point is this:
Take one saddle. Soak it in tortured souls for a while, then strap it to a pig. Let previously mentioned tortured souls possess pig, creating a never-before-seen* controllable pig.

I feel the idea is self-justified. For those that don't feel that way, or simply love bullet points:
- A free-roaming method of transportation, fully reliant on the tech tree without relying on actual technology
- You would be riding a possessed pig
- Speed? About half way between a max speed minecart and sprinting. maybe a tad slower. Still kinda fast though
- Covering long distances on foot requires going slowly, or sprinting and getting stomach ache from eating on the move. Not to mention all the jumping you could avoid
- It would look awesome
- Did I mention the pig is possessed?
- Potential for multiple uses...after all, what normally happens when the...container for a bunch of hellbound souls breaks?

Note that this suggestion has nothing to do with the fact that saddles are little more than gimmicks, or the similar fact that as of 1.8, pigs are almost pointless as food given what other farm animals you could have. Nothing whatsoever. That they are reasonably good argument for the idea is irrelevant imho. So moving on...pigs as transport, your opinions please?

*Ok, controllable pigs have been done. None of them have been controlled by the forces of hell themselves though, amirite?

Any way I think this would be sorta odd But it would work well in BTW with the whole sole crushing mentality that Steve kills / destroys / Tames and tortures everything In the world we can now add pig's to the list yea .( my attempt at sarcasm )

Does anybody know what happens if the pig you're ridding on gets struck by lightning? itamarcu made me think about this, and I have no means of finding out myself easily.
