Look at the title. 'nuff said. Mine's Elder Scrolls Online.

For now its the Dreamfall Chapters, and second is Clockwork Empires.
Better Than Wolves was borne of anal sex. True Story.

Is "Tom Clancy's: The Division" planned for 2014? I hope so. Havn't played shooter in quite a while, but the trailer has got me.

Mewgenics, Clockwork Empires, the Evil Within, and The Sims 4 (although that one is more cautious.)

Hmmm... Sims 4 might be interesting.. And the Oculus Rift might be good with games like ESO and Skyrim that are all about immersion.

The oculus rift does come with a virtual movie theater that you can play actual movies or just youtube videos in. It looks big enough to be Imax and you're all by yourself so you can sit anywhere you like. And it could be a game if you wanna time your self quickly walking around the seats ;)

To be entirely fair, RTH is the only title I'm particularly looking forward to though that's mostly because I don't keep up that much with game news anymore. I also believe Battlefront is producing a new Combat Mission, I guess I'm kinda excited for that as well.

Destiny looks interesting, not buying a new console and it will barely run on last gen hardware so i'm hoping for a later PC release.
Titanfall, although i'm going to wait it out and see how much control EA has over it, i hate being held to ransom with map packs(ie. not buying them = limiting the game availability) i'm not paying double price or a what is essentially a subscription fee for constant map packs.
mirrors edge 2 and the next mass effect may be coming out too.
i will also second wasteland 2 and the Oculus rift

Why not? Because it would have made sense!

Dwarf Fortress supposedly is getting a pretty significant update some time this year. Yes, it's not a new title, but the updates are infrequent enough that I feel it's worth noting.
Star Citizen should have its first release with gameplay - its developers have been working on the netcode needed for matchmaking and such, and their demo of what they had at the time looked promising (even if they crashed the server on stream).
I've also been eyeing the Oculus Rift. I'm going to wait until they settle on a consumer version, but their Crystal Cove prototype looked like a good start - from what I've heard, it was aimed at fixing the probable causes of the motion sickness that extended use could cause.

Wow, I think it says something to me that I don't even recognize half the games being mentioned here! (this certainly wouldn't have been the case in years past)
There's some Japanese titles I'm looking forward to on 3DS, as part of my hopeless determined efforts to learn the language. Or, well, actually, pretty much all of them got released last month, so I guess all that's left is Persona Q. And there's no guarantee I'll even get to play it (it would need to be available on the eShop, which not all retail games are).
And, of course, I'm also looking forward to whatever FC has to offer!

I'm excited for the release of Transistor (by Supergiant, makers of Bastion) hoping they do put it out on pc too instead of just PS4 though. Maybe Lover's in a Dangerous Spacetime as well as the FTL-similar style looks really interesting.
Re: Post your most anticipated games of 2014
BTW's final update. If that doesn't drop this year, D3:ROS.

Dark Souls 2
and it probably won't release this year, but right now I'm paying attention to all of the updates for Space Engineers, currently in Alpha. Really cool space builder that I hope gets fleshed out with a compelling survival mode.

Holy cow. Thanks for the heads-up, Icy. This looks very interesting. The older I get, the more I think about this sort of reality: where dungeons are not amusement parks. Looking forward to this one, now.icynewyear wrote:Darkest Dungeon is the one I'm excited for.

Granted, BTW FINAL and RTH would be awesome, but I am looking more at The Witcher 3 simply for its storyline and the DRM-free version (GOG and wine tend to make a great pair).
