The freakiest thing ever just happened. I'm here happily playing BTW, when one of my wolves starts howling. Immediately after that a dog in the street responds to the howl, and I swear he sounded EXACTLY the same. Suddenly I'm turning on my back looking behind me, thinking "Oh, fuck, they are real."

Now I've just got to tweak until the onset is much sooner and we should be good to go. How long have you been playing BTW for now?

Lemme see... I have started playing BTW since about june 2011. I stopped at the end of last year before most of the hardcore additions, and started again a couple of months ago.

So far I have got lots of piles and a bit of groth. And now I'm afraid of dogs. I used to like dogs.

At least you had good reason to be spooked. A couple weeks ago I heard the crunch of gravel under my feet while walking through a park and for a second I wondered why I didn't seem to be moving any faster.

My three dogs sometimes go apeshit depending on how high my volume is. Scrambling for the doors and windows to see who's howling. Quite comical if not head ache inducing... lol.
