The sad fact of the matter is if you're still fucking with me I'm still going to try ;)

EDIT

Hmmmm....hats don't work ( told you i'd try. laugh it up ) but I never realized that you could customize wolves anyway...

if that's vanilla behavior I feel even stupider because I never ever noticed that you could do that.
I'm not saying what it is in case it's part of the wolfy secrets...

Here's the face-palming truth of the matter: there are no booties (or spoon).

You've been the victim of what is now a two-week long running gag, with the concept of me of all people adding costumes for wolves being so totally out there, that most recognized it for what it was, and even joined in the fun by creating false screenshots of their wolves in outfits.

So:

Haha...noob :)
Can't tell if troll, or honest about being troll.

Oh and one more thing: THE EYES! Watching me through my window, always.
On the internet you can be whatever you want. It's surprising so many people choose to be stupid.

It's been in vanilla for a while.

Sorry for making you feel "stupider" :-)

Step 1: Make some clothes for my wolf.
Step 2: Forcefully put them onto him.
Step 3: Play FC's Pink Floyd video.
Step 4: Go to war with an army of wolves in booties.
Step 5: Profit while laughing maniacally.

Ok I am now thoroughly confused.

Are boots a troll?

I am thinking not b/c they have a texture, but I can't figure out how to craft them. The hint about tallow did not help.

You can only get them on with tallow. To keep them on, you need glue.

Ah, now I see why you're having trouble. You're not supposed to craft them man...villagers trade them, as well as the other wolf accessories.

EDIT: And yes...don't try to apply them during a full moon.

I think I may just have discovered "the beast" and boy did it scare the shit out of me. My wolf pack managed to remove him pretty quickly but it was quite a suprise.

That's good to know, I've had very little time to investigate the recent mystery features with my exams going on at the moment.

Nothing that I am doing is working.

I try clicking on the wolf with tallow . . . nothing happens

I try clicking on the wolf with socks and tallow in my inventory . . . nothing happens

I try when the wolf is in breeding mode . . . nothing happens

I try with different color socks . . . nothing happens

I try on full moon, no moon, waxing and waning moon . . . nothing happens

nothing ever happens

Not 100%, but I am almost certain they existed from the same update that wool armor came in. My little sister found them in the creative menu, but I can't remember when.

On topic: Beast is scary. He has not however worked out the subtle intricacies of attacking people up trees. Time to test my archery skills.

So. I found my old house. The one in which the beast resides.

I swear it was like approaching erebor, it even fit the description of a lonely mountain with some horrible gribbly in it.
No sooner than the chunk had loaded i could hear its terrible, gutteral growling. Fortunately past me had managed to close the door behind him on the way in (arguably unfortunate for past me) so it couldn't get out. Regardless, it took all my courage just to approach the front door and peer in.

Two hellish eyes met my own, i immidiately sealed up the doorway.

As night fell i constructed a second house around the front of the first and managed to hack a small hole in the wall. I came to the terrible realisation that i had stuff on the floor where i had been killed, i could reclaim it if i could get past this hellspawn. I tentatively reached in and thrashed my sword around, i only didn't lose an arm as past me had taken more than a chunk out of it.

Having picked through the meagre remains of my past self, i set upon cleansing the filth from the world. The wolves, all killed. the house, burned to the ground. I walked away as the flames licked the sky and i didn't look back.

This is true; on one of my rare sojourns in Creative, I noticed this and briefly rolled back to the previous version to check when they had been added. What I don't understand is how anyone could have thought that FlowerChild would actually add wolf booties and happiness levels to the game. I also don't quite understand how/why this thing is still going after so long.

I don't know how, but I am grateful for it none the less. Too many chuckles to be had :)

Speaking of which...
