It's easier to have its own topic for this since I seem to be updating it for (almost :p ) every update of BTW.
Anyhow, it should be updated for 2.94 now (new textures plus changed the textures for the DB and axe to reflect the new recipes). Let me know if there is anything I've forgotten.

Optional:
The changes to vMC's terrain and item are minor.
Terrain:
- Changed the piston head to be planks rather than wood.
- Removed some pixels from the ladder to make it look better on non-gray textures.
- Increased the saturation for the bed.
Item:
- Made all dyes consistent (except lapulis)
- Changed some armor icons.

Re: My BTW-textures for JohnSmith
Yay thanks ^^
There's a slight glitch with the steel armor textures tho. You can see it on the hands when you press F5 :P

Thanks for the heads up, I don't play in 3rd person so I hadn't noticed it. I've fixed it now and updated the download link in the OP.grimper12341 wrote:Yay thanks ^^

Re: My BTW-textures for JohnSmith
I feel a bit stupid now, but everyone said in the 2.93 thread that MC Patcher needed to be applied after all mods to work. But when I patch, the jar file gets emptied of the mod files. That's why I've always applied it first in earlier releases.
I really want to play this last version with all the nice changes in it, but I'm so used to this pack that I really can't go back to the vanilla style of textures.
What am I misunderstanding here?

Re: My BTW-textures for JohnSmith
Do as follow :
Delete minecraft.jar
Download a new one
Install Modloader, then the Forge, then BTW.
Install any optional mod you wanna use, if you're sure they're compatible
Make a copy of your minecraft.jar, and rename it minecraft-1.7.3.jar
Run the MCPatcher
Patch
Enjoy the HD textures ;)
The bold part is what helps you keep the mods in the .jar
You're probably running the Patcher before adding the mod, so the minecraft-1.7.3.jar file doesn't have them in, since it's a file created and used by the Patcher.

Ah, awesome! Thanks for the quick answer.
Now to see if I can fix the mess I've done trying to figure it out on my own :)

Re: My BTW-textures for JohnSmith
The patcher can be used to install mods too, and you can set the order mods and the hd patching gets done so everything works correctly.

I'm using 128px texture pack and 32px BTW pack.
I used MCPatcher to do the installs as shownThe BTW zip shown contains the contents from the MINECRAFT-JAR folder in the BTW release zip, and I've already replaced the BTW textures there with the 32px resolution ones.SpoilerShow
GuiAPI and AudioMod are for Mo'Creatures so I can tone done the squid spawning rate (only reason I currently use it!).
