I got the same in a world ... I think sometimes the basket bug, and stay open ( maybe only visual bug ). But when the basket was in fire my game crash.

Ok i believed you used a custom mc patcher version !
But i try it again and again still not work ... I was able To make mc patcher 4.3.1_1 only working but the game crash sometimes !

oh no ... the probleme was the version of Mcpatcher ! I have mcpatcher 5.0.3 but in your video you have mcpatcher 5.0.3 for Mc 1.5.2 and i cannot found this version O_O

So for now i got it work with MCPatcher 4.3.1_01[Minecraft 1.5.2] ^^
Can you give me the link for the 5.0.3 ?

oh yay... i think string/tripwire can be usefull for somes specific system... But string on the ground be fine only for early storage, i think some players use that for some bug exploit & cheaty trick.

Maybe its a vanilla bug, i mean sometimes we see the spiders on top but they was on the ground. This appear more inside cavern where we have to hit the ground to kill spiders on the roof...

Sometimes i chose pick axe and sometimes hoe... But i make sword only if i get a lot of iron... Because the nigth i stay in safe place and in cavern exploration, i make wall to trap mob. About sword : We can also get sword by killing a zombie ! Its not extremely rare ! Of course there still a trick ...
