Re: Better Than Starting Manned (Flower's WIP KSP mod )

I'm still at your previous stage Storm, where I can't figure out a rocket that will get me above 250km. Strangely enough, I find that fins don't help at all and only serve to make your rocket fly the other way you intended ;) Oh, one big think I realized (again, I suppose): CENTRE OF MASS, CENTRE OF...

Re: Better Than Starting Manned (Flower's WIP KSP mod )

Guys, if you're wanting to post stuff that would fit fine on the KSP forums, please consider posting it there. If you don't have an account, please make the effort to create one, which given the amount of work I've put into this thing, seems a rather reasonable thing to ask in return :) Yep, sorry,...

Re: Vanilla Minecraft News Discussion

Aren't we getting carried away? They're adding a new stone block. It's not "ripped off" from TFC. It's not a big deal. Granite is one of the most well-known rock types out there. It's not even a bad feature, it's a non-feature. Vanilla has been adding stuff to worldgen since forever witho...

Re: Better Than Starting Manned (Flower's WIP KSP mod )

One possible work around is to go to your actual game directory before opening steam, back it up, and run BTSM directly from the KSP.exe in there instead of going through Steam. That way, the update will be applied to the original directory, not your backup of it. That's what I'm doing anyways :) O...

Re: Long time lurker~

Welcome! About that update, in case you're not aware, it's been delayed as FlowerChild decided to make a "small mod" (we all know what that means) for Kerbal Space Program. If you have this game, have a go at it as it's, unsurprisingly, really well done and absolutely worth the wait for BT...

Re: Better Than Starting Manned (Flower's WIP KSP mod )

FC, I think there is a very slight mistake in your installation instructions that might cause a bit of misunderstanding now that the mod is public. Funnily enough, it concerns the part about Deadly Reentry and not BTSM. You write "(this is also how Deadly Reentry is installed BTW)". But De...

Re: Is your old Minecraft launcher not working? Fix it here!

Is there any way of using this with MC Patcher, the version that integrates BTW compatibility features ? If I remember properly you can set the path for the minecraft.jar in MCPatcher. Yes, but when you launch McPatcher, it searches for the proper folder architecture for MC. However, the version fo...

Re: Cultivating the End

Can this possibly make Endstone renewable? It can, it's not vanilla . This feature of endermen was added deliberately to allow renewable access to endstone. I haven't yet actually seen someone build a capable farm to actually accomplish it, but it's designed to be an option. You've never seen an en...
