I have not noticed any FPS drops whilst playing. What I have noticed however, is that whilst using 1.8 throught the downloadable client at home, it sometimes froze on me and had to be shut down through the task manager. Have not encountered this so far whilst playing at work online (through browser).

It's running the latest version, 1.8.1 (not bukkit yet). I do understand that it is 10 connected at a time, and not 10 whitelisted =) but I would hate for someone to not be able and login when they know they can. I went with a 10slot 1.5gb server by Multiplay (including the 10slot mumbles server) for 3 months to try it out. So far its working great. :)

Unstable connection user here. I can understand their reasons for doing it but all those reasons are multiplayer related, which I don't really care for, being a solo player only. Hmm, I did use it before without problems (with previous forge builds). When I get home tonight I will try to install everything as normal through the patcher, but add SMP seperately afterwards.
