Didn't even realize you were gone.
Of course, that may have had something to do with the fact that I've been gone for a while. But that's not the point.

Re: New release?
I think "The winners are always the good guys" partially applies here ... successful rebellions looks better in hindsight than unsuccesful ones. History usually is like that since it's written by those who won the conflict. Which is funny, because I can think of tons of successful rebelli...

Re: Witnessing the end - a minecraft Journal. Chapter 16, 31
There's some spelling mistakes that have been bugging me lately. "matirial" should be "material" "tenticle" should be "tentacle" Bah. I make tons of typos when I'm on my laptop - and it's always dumb mistakes like that. I'm not sure why, but when I can't see ...

Re: he's doing it wrong
No, I mean I thought the way the game was played was you moved around the board setting up the pieces one by one til the winner put the cage up top and set off the whole thing. Maybe we were doing it wrong, maybe I'm completely misremembering. No, that's actually how you played it. But I don't thin...

I know it's mostly jokes, but seriously? Am I one of the few people who could actually assemble that thing? I think I even still have my old board under my bed, and I have no doubt that all the pieces are there and usable. Is there anyone saying otherwise? If so, they're retards. I used to play tha...

I'm pretty sure it has to do with BTW writing over some of the base classes from Minecraft, because there aren't adequate hooks yet.
I could be wrong, though, and I haven't a bloody clue as to how to mod or all. But I picked that up as the gist in this topic.

Torch arrows actually sound cool. I'm not a fan of fancy combat arrows, but torch arrows I would find useful and time saving when lighting say cave roofs. I am assuming "Torch Arrow" means you fire an arrow and where it hits, it plants a Torch? I think he was moreso referring to an arrow ...

Ah. I entirely forgot about the good ol' 'hover bed'. I learned that from Vech's tutorial map, and haven't used it since.
I'll have to remember that, now instead of playing hell with my dirt bunkers like usual.

Re: Sleeping bag
That is a good point. At current, there is no way to safely sleep in the open. Granted, in the Minecraft world, that would be a ludicrous idea anyways, but sometimes it's nice not to have to build a small bunker when the night hits on those long journeys away from home. Though, it's entirely underst...

I do like the idea of giving nethercoal more uses later on in the tech instead of just lowering the tech level when you first get it. Since we're partially on the topic of the Total War series, anybody up for some hilariously epic fan fiction? I like to drop this into the laps of anybody who's ever played any of the games and knows the absurdity of how you can change historic landscapes. For example, in Medieval II, what would hap...

Re: RTS goodness
Holy shit that's a well-done mod. I am greatly impressed. Total War kinda fits into it's own category, but Medieval II, Napoleon and Shogun II are all worth playing. Rome and its expansions were great at the time but feel a little dated now. And Empire shall not be mentioned. Aww... but Empire: Tot...
