Re: Texture packs And why you like them

I know this is an old topic, but i lost internet. My hope is that maybe Tekei will read this and feel inspired to update it. :) All of my videos are filmed using it. I love Tekei's pack. He stopped updating it, but i have continued to use it. I may start to venture out and try new packs or mix and m...

Re: SmoothStone Generator: 64 Stacks in 30 minutes.ChaechewS

Okay i have tried:
Save and exit, enter
I have tried taskmanager kill and enter.
alt-f4 and restart.

Did each of these 5 times and never a single cobble.
That is the best i can do to answer the question.

Re: SmoothStone Generator: 64 Stacks in 30 minutes.ChaechewS

No i haven't tried that, but since this relies purely on the buddy block and not a timer that problem should not be an issue.

There is no timer to mess up which is what happens on the load/unload issue on setups.

Never faulty after hours and hours of use.
If it was gonna go faulty it would have within the 4096 pieces it created.
Since the water always beats the lava back in because water moves faster than lava it will be 100%.

Quick question: are 3 levels all that's needed for maximuum efficiency, assuming everythings lit up already? It certainly looked that way. Thanks! Good Question Ill ramble a little first :) Maximum efficiency is relative to your needs. is it just an xp farm? adjust your drop height to account for d...

Re: Chaechew Builds a Mob Trap

Nice mobtrap, sure going to be a inspiration for me. I'm still deciding on a mobtrap above the water and let them drop, or below the water and bring them up for something fun. Below and bring up is just a lot more work - even building above water one of these is easier. all the signs. uggg. While t...

We cannot post BTB stuff here - just so you know. You will need to follow the BTB thread on MCF. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/910330-11-better-then-buildcraft-v200-upd-jan-20/ Hardcore bucket is a BTW feature, should be fine to discuss here I tred lightly, Got told once already :) Don't want...

Well to come up with an end all be all for tutorials on this would be difficult. I have a video planned that will help some specifically for the HCB side. BTB it just comes down to knowing how the blocks work. Ill see what i can do. I play all 3. In a lot of my videos i try to design them with HCB i...

Re: The Hardcore Mechanical Challenge

I think the challenge would be to only be able to power X number of gear boxes off one wheel, forcing you to use a lot more space and resources for more wheels. Placement to make you houses to be compact more challenging of the design. like a box of wheels [_] to power only 4 rooms. one each directi...

Chaechew Builds a Mob Trap

I credit my countless hours of watching Ethos on mob spawners for this design. :) I did this in creative so i could do it faster, and so i could talk about a few things i won't be doing in my real world. I have created lots of different mob traps, but this is my favorite for easy to create, easy to ...

Re: Breeding Observations 3.48 to 3.941

Before my recent testing i just put different ticks on each vertical pair using repeaters and mass wheated them which is fine for my needs. Eventually they offset enough to be consistent enough for me, but that is for cows. Havn't delved into pigs outside of the testing lab since the 3.491 change. i...

Re: Breeding Observations 3.48 to 3.941

Ya, that is what i was saying about offsetting their breeding ticks. Just means you have to create bigger or more complicated circuits. I was making the 15 dispenser pop more than one dispenser that makes the 5 minutes and then alternate which minute each goes off and then have to separate each line...

Ramblings on Wheat Farm by Chaechew

Wheat Farms can be a hot topic. Wheat is difficult due to it's inconsistent and long growth cycles and everyone has their own way of tackling the problem based on their needs. I know you made up your mind on the house, but i thought some of this may aid in decision making anyway. 1. Personally i would just find a new location. Hunt for dungeon spawners. Everything else can be built anywhere using any mode HCB/BTB or otherwise. This is how i choose my homes. I recently mov...
