i fixed it, i had installed forge by compressing it and inserting into /mods but that was the problem, after i put it in the .jar it worked.

im positive i did it right but ill try again, can forge be done by putting the zip in the /mods or should i put it in the .jar too?

i dont see how it could be mcextended but ill try and un-install it, also the cjbs mod had a terrain.png but im not sure if it would matter.

EDIT: after i uninstalled mcextended it still happened.
