Re: Better Than Wolves Source Code
Here's a guide to do the setup of the BTW source code for development: This guide will show you how to patch the BTW Sources into a decompiled 1.5.2 VMC environment using MCP and Eclipse. This guide was written using a win10 machine but can be very easily be adapted to OSX/Linux machines. First we n...

Dangit Dawn, you're making the decision to remove villagers from their homes and bring them to my gallows a lot more difficult with these gorgeous structures! xD

10 years is a long time for a lot of projects. We've seen all sorts of change in the Minecraft community and you kept plugging away at your vision. Thank you for keeping on keeping on, and I hope for the best of your future and mental health! ^-^/

Re: A Message For The Community
Not sure why those 2 don't exist. Only thing I can think of is they might have contained destructive bugs that I did not feel comfortable keeping around in any form. Reading into the comments surrounding these announcement posts it would indeed seem that they were causing game breaking bugs. If you...

Re: A Message For The Community
Clicking through all the links to find broken links and I noticed that versions 2.70 onward (save for the most current and A9PustulesLancingb) are all still set to private. I wonder if your bulk change only worked for a single page of files on MediaFire? You're right. The Mediafire interface is sup...

Re: A Message For The Community
I was wondering if it might be possible to get previous versions of the mod now that your outlook has changed. I'd love to be able to play some of the older versions that weren't as hardcore or survival intensive. Nm my previous, as I figured out a way to do a bulk select for permissions within the...

Re: A Message For The Community
Oh wow, this is quite the next step. As for source release, the community has been working at collecting and archiving existing addons that are open source allowing us to collaboratively keep the spark alive and where code can move hands for ease of 'ownership' transfer. https://github.com/BTW-Commu...
Re: Autonauts
Aye, picked this one up last fall and only played for about 10 hours myself. Lots of fun, really enjoyed figuring out the mechanics and then attempting to work out an optimized runtime. The one thing that kept me from really optimizing was that there are better bots later down the line, so attempts ...

Re: Weird chunk error
Looks like the terrain was generated but the decoration pass didn't happen.. If you're willing to do some experiments, open up the world in McEdit and look for ores, caves and other structures underground. I'd also assume that there are no plants what so ever in the affected chunks? can you run alon...

Re: Cube World is back!
Everyone that had an Alpha key, be sure to log into your Picorama account and get your steam key! https://i.imgur.com/Yr2ee11.png LOL the date is still TBD. I'm not falling for that again. Yeah, looks like the official release is still TBD, the steam platform will at least give them a better way to ...

Cube World is back!
For a long while now CubeWorld has been in development, an alpha was released and subsequently purchased and played by many. Since then there were a couple small updates to fix bugs and the sort, but Wollay, the creator essentially went dark. In the years since the alpha release I found a discord se...

Infinite Wicker
If you craft two wicker panes together you receive 4 wicker slabs, which can then be turned back into 8 wicker panes.
Tested in the latest version BTW 4.B0000001.
Thanks to Lafiir on the Discord for catching this one.

Re: [WIKI] A comprehensive guide to editing the BTW wiki
The Beginners Guide on the Wiki is somewhat out dated. "This is not meant as a complain, but rather as observation" Yeah, It's on the list of things to go. 2) Remove all old guides, progressions and other like pages and build a single guided system to help new players -The basic idea will...

Re: Squids greatest weakness is waist high water
What kind of behavior do you see them exhibiting? Are they not coming near? Are they not really forcibly pulling you out to sea before having a midnight snack? Or are you finding they latch onto you and since you're in a block of water they aren't able to drown you? (are they just latching onto you ...

-Changed mobs to be able to spawn in 1-block high gaps if their body shape allows it. This mainly applies to the various types of spiders, but also prevents exploiting certain block shapes to create player walkable areas that mobs can't spawn in. now you can make spider only, slime only and bat onl...

was fortunate enough to receive an Alpha key a couple of weeks ago. You lucky dog! I have been following it for a few months now and am still hoping for an alpha key :p It is pretty much as you explain though, a more visually appealing (to most) factorio with an incomplete system as of yet.. but mu...
