I have never needed contacts or glasses but i have always had this problem where for periods of time my vision goes blurry as shit and I can't make out shapes for about 20 mins, I can make out colors just not shapes :/ Because it has always only happened for max of 20 mins I've never told my mum ab...

:D so the water changes mean we can stack source blocks on top of each other and make proper ponds/lakes/rivers now? Only mentions going on top for lava though :\

EDIT: And that vid actually has good, appropriate, non-screamo music. Holy crap it's a freaking miracle.
EDIT 2: And of course BTW is incompatible with that mod. Curses.

Oh trust me there's a billion rabid fanboys out there just itching to prove I'm a noob about it, and once they do they will get back to arguing over who would win in a fight to the death between Iron Man and Batman.

Re: The Avengers
Sorry I'm a total marvel/DC noob, I like them but have never really gotten around to watching/reading much of their stuff.
But anyway, I'm guessing Avengers is sort of like the Justice League? Or is Avengers part of the Justice League, or am I committing heresy and mixing up marvel and DC D:

Re: Achievements
Yup, just like custom sound, custom achievements is not something I can effectively do right now without the mod becoming dependent on another API. There are eventual plans for inclusion of something like this in the Forge though, at which point I'll surely include achievements. Until that time, it...

Re: Foothold Trap
Actually, I'm not convinced about how useful this would be. Let's run through your suggestions... 1.) Protect your home. ---See my linked video about the door-pressure plate trap. I'm sure I could whip up a smaller trap using trapdoors if you want to catch pigs, wolves, or spiders. 2.) Hold mobs in...

^^ nice update.
Is there a recipe for crafting the soul urn though? Or is that just one extra turn of the turntable or something (ditto for urn)

Re: 1.8, wolves, respawns.
Well from the look of that thread you posted, we're screwed (although I have noticed that you will often see wolves when you first spawn in a world...but never again after that). I'd suggest just getting Single Player Commands (dunno if it's updated or not) and use that to spawn some wolves :\

Re: Wider piston controls. A redstone
What the hell....either the forums are playing tricks on me or a mod is. Posted the schematic 20 minutes after my last post, then when I refreshed it later, the follow up post I had made had completely the wrong timestamp, saying it was posted 10mins after the last post when in reality it was a coup...

Re: What do you guys think about people taking over "dead" m
This seems kinda similar to the technic pack fiasco to me though, mods being taken without permission even if it is apparently for a good cause. It still shows a total lack of respect for the mod author, by letting their work become corrupted by others and not even bothering to wait a while before s...

It could also be safe to say they just went on holiday though or waiting for full release, everyone seems to presume they died or don't care.

EDIT: Actually wait I think I do get it now..gonna fiddle around with it.

What do you guys think about people taking over "dead" mods?
Found this thread earlier on the minecraft forums: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/658494-181coupons-mod-updates/ At last count this guy is taking over 31 apparently "dead" mods. At first I was totally against it, because it's entirely possible the mod authors are just on holiday, or w...

Re: BTW: Design Philosophy
The lava nerf is going to make me sad. My SMP base is defended by a maze with a couple dozen piston traps that pop up roadblocks ahead of and behind a trip plate while opening a lava sluice overhead, each one on a timer that resets it after fifteen secnds. If lava is going to be less lethal that me...

Don't exactly get the point of it. A steam roller doesn't move fast, and it would clear a path max 4 blocks wide unless it was ridiculously oversized. You could clear that area much faster with a diamond/steel shovel.
