when you say "attached" you mean you have at least one line of redstone from the detector to the gear box?

Re: i know its not incompatible, but it doesn't work. help?
One thing that no one seems to make sure you understand is IC is still 1.8.1 and if you wish to use BTW with it you can if you limit yourself to BTW 3.22, which was the last version that was made for forge & vMC 1.8.1. I myself still have that as one of my .minecraft folders, the other is just v...

Yep the 3rd notch works just fine.
And yes notch is a word, meaning a mark on item. Like a soldier might notch the haft of his gun for each of his kills.

or just use a turntable with two redstone torches on opposite sides and set the turntable to the second notch. However, this may have changed with 3.27 I haven't logged much time yet on this update.

Re: Regarding Water transport
the archimedes screw that gil is talking about works very well using BDs, but it is very very noisy depending on how high you are taking the items. I had one on my old mob grinder that lifted the items abut 20 blocks then off to processing/storage, I am almost grateful that that grinder no longer wo...

Re: Anyone know what the cj.class is in mc 1.0?
Ah good good, I tried FC's hardcore bucket switch, I liked it but there are just some cases where I want to be able to move water just a bit further or what happened more often is move water up. However, since I too don't care a lot for vanilla water physics I'll use finite water again.

yea I saw some reference to blocksand, but I can't think of why FC would need to make changes to that class so figured it was something else.

Anyone know what the cj.class is in mc 1.0?
Thinking of trying out finite water again with BTW and this is the only class conflict I see.
This class isn't listed on the mcp obfuscation map.
cheers.

Re: New Release! (BTW V3.26)
<snip> FC said in third post above yours that he'll release a fix for this, no need to keep repeating it now. I understand, I actually missed that FC stated he would look at it. However, as it stands the mod is all but impossible to use in it's current state for new worlds. I actually ended up impo...

Re: New Release! (BTW V3.26)
Glad to see you getting back into it man! I haven't touched the growth rate of Hemp since I first created it If something has changed, it wasn't on my end :) Afaik, that is a vMC change. Everything takes longer to grow since 1.0. Yea the growth rate of hemp is now insane, I have been playing nearly...

Yes very true, I generally just pack all my items/blocks in some tight chests and make a schematic, so at least I don't lose the hours of work in resource gathering and crafting. I for one am looking forward to a few months of stable minecraft versions.

Saw a few of you that were planning to move your 1.8 worlds over. Don't forget there was a world gen change between 1.8 and 1.9 so you will see some weird chunk lines in unexplored areas after you update. If you are really keen on keeping your old world you could go in to MCedit and crop only the ch...

Re: New Release! (BTW V2.99)
FC, since you made the bucket unable to pick/place source blocks of water. Do you know in the 1.9 pre there is an enchantment "silk touch" that allows you to "mine" ice blocks.(This seems to be working as intended, other than the ability to "farm" mob spawners) Thus thi...

New SMP Server
First, understand I think of all the Minecraft communities the BTW is the best one I have run across. I thoroughly enjoy playing MC solo, but love playing with my kids even more. I am a contractor so have traveled and been away from home most of this year. This gives me time to play with the family....

Re: A random realization about the new animal spawning
You can also always repopulate a spawn chunk by importing animals from other areas. On my newest server, my son and I had to do this as we executed quite a thorough genocide on all livestock in our first few nights of survival. After about 4-5 MC days we had no animals besides a few sheep. We had to...

Re: 1.8, wolves, respawns.
A simple fix could be to allow cows to have a smaller chance than wolves, to produce dung as well. Leaving wolves as our primary source as we could still feed them to a higher production value. :) Or leave it as is, as part of the "adventure" to bring your wolves back to your house, painfu...

Re: 1.8, wolves, respawns.
This is not true. My son's world, since he's primary bio is a "forest biomes" wolves are constantly respawning. In mine, I have yet to see one wolf spawn in my "forest biomes". This is a problem I knew would happen for BTW when Notch increased the size of each type of biomes. By ...

Not sure I completely agree with BTW being out of place. In my Citadel world I have BTW, IC, and BC. Almost every room, but primarily the workshops have something from all three mods as part of each automated system. If it is simply the use of a hopper or turntable or even the all time fav the block...

Re: Dynamo - BTW/IC² Addon
just to make sure, I checked the minor changes FC added in 2.9.4 "-Added ability to render leather armor in the Cauldron." and I can do it so yes it is the correct version.
Only other mods I have installed are buildcraft and Reiminimap. So nothing that modifies base classes.

Well I am sure I was on BTW 2.94 and the file I am looking at is dated the same time frame that FC put 2.94 on the forums, and the readme also states 2.94 within the zip. Only difference is that it shows 2.93 in the modloader error log. Only can only assume you are looking for a class file not a blo...
