The annoyance of having to chew them does remain a motivating factor, but each individual slice restores enough to "feel" worth it to me (as opposed to cocoa/pumpkins).

Meh. The take-home message I got from both the description and the video is "simulation." It's got thirst, hunger, temperature, and all the other things you've gotta micromanage in all the other survival games... but without the interesting game mechanics that make other games fun.
