Re: Base-4 with a BD

Wouldn't be easy to use more than one BD? This is the setup I made: http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/8914/20120720120113.png http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/5599/20120720120122.png http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/267/20120720120130.png And this could be easyly expanded up to base 16, using 16 BD...

Smelting steel axe otputs more steel.

When i've smelted a steel axe, a normal axe, crafted with 3 steel ingots, it outputs 5 steel ingots, like the battle axe.

3.80 installed and tested twice.

Re: Iron Golems drop XP

Silly people. You get XP from smelting iron because you are smelting the souls OUT of the iron. XP orbs make for weak iron because they're weak souls that couldn't make it to the nether. You need to get them out of the iron to get good iron, and replace them with nether souls to get the good stuff....

I think it will be the nethersludge pottery. We'll be able to bottle XP with some kind of urn, and in the next phases we will need to use other kinds of pottery

You can enable the browser bar at the steam client. It doesn't let you write, but you can copy anything. You can also use the steam ID instead of the profile number. You can edit your profile ID in the steam comunity profile options

Maybe he is not the first sent to that world, but the only who has managed to survive. I mean, somebody had to build those strongholds and mineshafts.

Grinding netherrack in the millstone and filter it in a hopper with soul sand as filter. And remember to power the hopper or there will be to many souls inside it. That can be dangerous. Then make some hibachis and belows so you can stoke fire. That should be made before the pottery, as you cant coo...

Re: An important hint on what's to come to help you prepare

It's not the 3 end portals. Tell me, didnt fc say he wants old worlds to work the same to? He has no ends in his old world. It doesn't need to be an stronghold, just a place where a stronghold should be. There are 4 fixed points within any MC world. Each of them acts as a magical nexus, each with i...

I used once to fill a 5x5 a shaft that i didn't align correctly in my mine to keep my base symmetrical. But I dont usually use it for building, as i prefeer the use of stone bricks for walls and stone slabs, sandstone and wood for flooring

The stewing pot is now capable of output more than one item in a single recipe, I think. It's used for the bow to string and stick recipe.

No I think that mean that the false statement was the strongholds being infinite.
At page 4 in this thread Flowerchild said that a creating a portal to the End was a good idea because he would be able to add materials from the End to the tech tree, but it's not what he is doing now.

I like to think the ligth block is like an efficient alternative to the redstone lamp, like the recipes that use sidings instead of planks. You can use redstone to controll a ligth block, but if you aply the glowstone to a fiber, add a bit of redstone and enclose inside glass you can save a lot of r...

Re: So... Placenta?

Placenta are the particles that seem like the water-driping-through-a-block particles, but in red. For me the best way to see them is having the animals with a breeding harness with at least one block separation and a hole in the midle or the baby animal to fall. The placenta should apear in the mid...

No no... I'm not implying you should do something about it! It just bugs me a bit. Of course that's fairly minor when you consider all the logical inconsistencies in minecraft. It was just an expression of my thoughts. :) EDIT: Less bugs... More funny in an ironic way? Maybe I should just keep my m...

Have you used the HDpatch from MCPatcher or Optifine? You should use one of them (not the two at the same time).
