Re: Loss in translation...
My company has offices in seven other countries. I regularly find myself on the phone with people for whom English is not their first language. They regularly apologize to me for not speaking better English. My response is always the same. "You have nothing to apologize for. You are trying to c...

Re: What do you do on your Free time?
I used to play my 360 until BTB sucked me back into Minecraft addiction. My fiancee and I play on an APA pool team shooting 8-Ball and 9-Ball at least once a week. We will be going to an 8-Ball tournament at the Oregon coast in a couple of weeks. I love to read, both novels and comic books. Spending...

Re: Cement Physics: Anybody know a good video?
Clever "fix." It's still a huge "no" for me though. The cost is part of playing the game to me. Same for me. I regret having even used creative for testing mod features as I was developing them (namely the Lens). This is actually really impressive. I figured you'd have to have s...

Re: Morvelaira's News Compilation
This makes me feel pretty vindicated. I avoided using ExtraBiomesXL because while it was pretty as all get-out, I didn't want to use too many block IDs and possibly bork my worlds. As of right now I think I only use one other mod that adds a block ID at all, which is Zeppelin. The Zeppelin mod has ...

For me creative mode doesn't exist. It take the fun cost out of figuring stuff out. Fix'd :) I generally play around with any given feature in creative first, to get a feel for it. Well, not creative, but TMI. :) Clever "fix." It's still a huge "no" for me though. The cost is pa...

I was rolling up a grizzled infantry officer and Judah Yanakov kept popping up so the character became David Yanakov, american ex-pat with russian heritage. Fast forward a few years to ...

For those of us who are slow, this means we get to watch and learn from other people's mistakes. This was exactly my thought. I'm just learning the whole automation thing, starting to tinker with getting soul urn production automated, but that's several disparate systems at the moment. Eventually I...

I also haven't made a point of this, but for shorthand I tend to prefer Laira over Morv or Morvy. I know the second two are what people go for first because it's the front end of the name and gender is indeterminate on the internet. But for those paying attention... just sayin'. >.> This is a wonde...

Re: How often to feed the Wolves in my Dung Farm?
I have about 10 wolves and I have a dispenser toss in two pieces of rotten flesh every 5 minutes or so.
It seems to work pretty well. I don't have huge stacks of dung lying around but I currently have more tanned leather than I know what to do with.

Recently, I've been changing that over to "Cabooceratops", due to A) Dinosaurs are awesome, and B) it's far more unique.

Wednesday night is game night at my home. Currently we're playing Shadowrun 4e (which I quite love) but we've played D&D 3.5 and 4.0 along with the Supernatural game as well.
Regularly my eldest and his best friend come wearing Pony t-shirts. It's really quite entertaining.

Mine has disappeared twice.
Once when a tree I planted grew too close to it, and the second time when a creeper blew up directly below it.
Yours looks too high for either of those circumstances to have happened.

Re: New SimCity -- coming 2013!
I decided long ago that if I couldn't play it on my 360 or my Mac, I wasn't going to sweat it too much. Unfortunately from time to time, I do sweat it a bit. But Minecraft and Football Manager both work on my Mac so I'm generally a happy camper.
